A buddy of mine just brought this game for PS2 over and Im so totally hooked that my hand is cramped in pain from countless hours of non stop playing. Great for those who have never played guitar and great for masters of guitar. Ive beaten almost every song on expert in 2 days , gotta check this out ... www.guitarherogame.com/

Yea my 19 years of real guitar experience definately helped .. but I thought the game was gonna be stupid but its actually bad ass. If you do good then it sounds like the real song and feels like your playing it and all mess ups are heard, you are the guitar in this game .. all I can say is they have great songs and Im hooked LOL!

yea App's have heard about this game before, they have similar software for the PC, if you have a decent sound card you can plug your guitar into the computer, and record and compile songs and shit

I think IM still using a generic sound card LOL... Damn that sounds cool mits, can I get software that acts as an actual signal processor to generate cool effects? Cause my $800 Peavy TubeFex has bit the dust .

ok, I was talking to a buddy of mine, and I geuess soo far the software is just out for mac. And it's not like a vid game, but they do have lessons and shit you can play alsong with, it is mainly for compiling music, so if you play guitar you can record a rythm section for a song and them you can add drums, bass, piano, ect. I geuss they have a bunch of pre- recorded riffs and shit depening on what kind of music you like. The software is called apple music or somthing like that, but I havn't had any luck in finding it :\
